Poor Baby:(

As if he hadn't all ready been poked and prodded for the first days of his life.  The poor thing was really jaundicy.  The first day they gave us a bili blanket.  But his levels still were going up, then they gave us the bed.  Which is actually kind of mini little baby tanning bed.  I actually think that he really liked it.  He was nice and cozy and warm in there.  Plus he got to wear those super cool goggles!  He had to be under the lights for 5 days!  Which meant he had to go back to the hospital lab every day for almost a week to have his bili levels tested.

Sorry, not sorry!

Every single one of these pics are so precious to me.  

After the pediatrician told us we could take him home with us, he just had to pass the car seat test!

I was really nervous because he had to keep his breathing and heart rate normal, and his oxygen up for 90 whole mins!  

He tested like a champ!  

All ready to go home and meet his brother and sister!  Cash and Charley had been dying to meet him.  They had to wait though since kids aren't allowed in the NICU.  They would come to see me and beg to see their little brother.  It was heart wrenching!

These pictures give me the most joy I have ever experienced.  I felt like they have waited to long to be together again.  I always have the feeling when I see my babies for the first time, that they are all ready familiar to me.  I think its the same way for my kids when they meet for the first time.

Cash: "Mom I love him so much and he is so cute it makes me want to laugh and cry"

That was the first thing Cash said, while his eyes were tearing up. 

That was one of the sweetest moments in my life.

Charley was instantly turned into Bronx's second Mommy!

She is always wanting to hold, and kiss, and squeeze him:) 

I'm so happy and blessed to have my babies here, healthy and happy!

NICU

Sorry, but not sorry for the picture overload.  I want to remember every minute, and every second of Bronx's birth.  Here are a few pictures from the rest of our hospital stay.  They are a little out of order.

This is from the nursery, only parents are allowed in there.  So, this is the nurse holding him up for the Grandmas to see.  

They only let me feed him the one time after he was born.  They were afraid that because of his fast, shallow breathing he could aspirate his food into his lungs.  So for about a day and a half, they had him on sugar water.  He was such a good boy. 

He is in the NICU in these pic.  I breaks my heart looking back at all of these pictures.  He was so tiny, and fragile.  It was really hard having him in there, not really knowing what was wrong and not knowing how long it would be till he would be well enough to take him home.

These pictures are from the nursery.  I was afraid to pic him up, since at that point they still didn't know what was going on with him.  

The doctor's said that he had TTN.  Which had a long medical name, that I can't remember anymore.  Basically he couldn't clear out his lungs when he was just born, and it caused him to have those rapid, shallow breaths.  I'm so thankful for our pediatrician who trusted us to take him home with us when we left the hospital.  I don't know what I would have done if I had to leave him there:(
